Archery Team Places Eighth at the Beijing Olympics

Yuki Hayashi of HORIBA Legal Affairs Department and one of Japan's women archers at the Beijing Olympics, placed eighth in the team competition.


On August 10th, she entered the women's team event with Sayako Kitabatake (from MIKI HOUSE Co., Ltd.) and Nami Hayakawa (from Nippon Sport Science University). After a convincing win over Colombia in the preliminary round, they were beaten by Great Britain in the 1/4 eliminations and placed eighth overall.


Hayashi will participate in the individual event beginning 12th August.
