Vacuum Ultra Violet Spectroscopy
There are several names given to wavelengths below the Ultra Violet. However, because of the absorption of the air down to few nanometers, and the need to evacuate any part of the environmental
The VUV Fluorescence system consists in a Deuterium light source (DLS200) combined with a H20-UVL for sample excitation in the range 115-400 nm. The fluorescence analysis is done in the visible range by an iHR spectrometer. The sample chamber is equipped with a 4 positions turret and a viewport to visualize the selected sample. The whole system is controlled via HORIBA Scientific software.
There are many light sources to choose from when selecting the right fluorescence instrument for an application.
